    Meat Damage on Deer

Really impressed by the 9.3 last fall lost maybe 2 sq inches of the shoulder from the entrance of the first bullet that got both shoulder blades and lungs. That tough SOB didn't go down. He came out of the mohagany and I put a second one in him for good measure. My 338 took a bear with a 225...

    Most explosive Varmint bullet

Your right I was on there last night. Just kinda looking around asking questions. The 55BT is all I have experience with. Just asking if there's a better mousetrap! The 55 does a dang fine job just in the fields with irrigation equipment I'm kinda leary of taking some shots. I've jugged a 55 and...

    hornady 154 IB

Jim, Awesome work. These IB's are kinda impressive. I don't know if I'd switch to them but in a pinch they would work well. Just have never been real impressed with the results I've seen from their bullets. They are accurate though. Jake

    Most explosive Varmint bullet

Just trying to get a consensus on the most explosive varmint bullet avalible in .22 cal. Don't bother trying to feed me Berger or Barnes as they are too expensive for the task at hand. I'm currently running 55BT's at 3750-3850 outta a 22-250 but looking at other options to reduce cost a little...

Earned my Jr. gunsmithing merit badge today.

Good work Scott that money you saved will go towards another project I'm sure. Some of that stuff is really easy to take care of.

    Primer Pockets

Read where a lot of comp shooters won't mess with pockets until after the 3rd firing due to stress streching and such.

    Long chamber

39 and 44 might be a higher node if safe I'd play with seating depths on both.

    286 PT

I was kinda surprised with it as well thought it would open more. I can push it quite a bit harder as its a very light load. However the Woodleigh really impressed me. All 3 of these were shot over 62 gr of H414. Jake

Seating depth for accubond long range

Playing with the .375 Win Model 70

Normally I sight my rifles in for 2 inches low at 25 yards which puts me within a click or 2 at 100 yards. So really it shouldn't be hard to hit 300. Good shooting but it sounds like you need some bench time to craft some proper ammo for her!

    7mm Mizzum

Shot one group @ 200 was around 3" I know I got some more work. But I think I was chasing my tail pretty good for a bit. Getting some weird stuff with the bullets I was shooting.

    Quickload projected pressure?

Mike that would be correct if he was seeing 2300fps but with him seeing 2420ish that would put him at 70k correct?
