Blaser, Sauer, and Mauser all have that chambering. It is a great caliber that gets the job done without fuss and drama.

I used it in place of RL-22 when RL-22 became scarce (it is the same powder, but is first run). It has a little variability in lot-to-lot (so does RL-22, of course) but no problems with temperature sensitivity. I use it in an assortment of 6.5x55's.

30-06 Ackley. It is one of the calibers that really benefits from being an Ackley.

I did almost the same thing, except I found a featherweight in 6.5x55. I wouldn't hesitate to buy in either caliber.
