How close is the Remington 700 action, dimension wise, compared to the 788, 721, 722? I'm glass bedding the action, so a little fitting isn't the problem. Do the holes line up for the action bolts? Long Action? Steve

Does anyone know when pac-nor will be able to chamber their barrels in 28 Nosler? I might have to rethink my 6.5-55 swede build. Especially since the 28 will fit in my long action win 70. That and a Zeiss HD5 3-15 would be sweet!

Ugly as hell! I wouldnt pay $500 for it. Not a single smooth curve on it. Looks like the stock was cut on a cnc mill then clear coated. Come on Hornady! :roll:

How do these stocks feel? Do they feel like a factory plastic stock just painted or better?

I did a batch of 257 AI not too long ago. I had my best results when I shut the lights off, held the torch to the neck/shoulder junction until they started to turn the slightest of DARK red, then dropped in a pan of water. They turned out beautiful. Looked like new lapua brass!

36gr of imr3031 and a sierra 140gr gameking was a mild load i had for my 7mm-08. When i was young. Killed to many whitetail to count with that load.

Ive used the ttsx in my 280. Didnt notice any increase in fouling. They are hell on whitetail!

Just an update. I ended up buying a match lower from RRA for my "build". Also got a rifle length free floating quad rail from YHM, magpul flip up sights, magpul pistol grip, vertical grip, and ctr stock. Gonna run a vortex viper pst 1-4 on it. Maybe try to do my own kylon/sponge camo job. Who knows.
