Tikka........ Is the short answer. I wore a Nosler hat for about 20 years until I went into Anchorage to "load up" on
Bullets in mid 1980's and found they had effectively doubled the price of most of their stuff by simply boxing there low end stuff from boxes of 100 to boxes of 50. I shot...
Had lots of clients show up with 7/57's over the years and it worked wonders on game up to 400lbs with various loads, it is about a 7mm/08 with a twist favoring heavier bullets. Both work super. I would prefer the 7/08 and shoot lighter bullets for deer. For game over 500lbs then
with heavier...
Just another form of censorship? Buy up all the competition and shut off the valve of supply?
Sounds like ALOT like facebook........ or Germany
In late 30's doesn't it.
When the dust all settled nothing said here trump's JOC's
.270 Win for a Western rifle, Magnum rifles are a weak excuse for poor shooting.
There is no Elk in the west that can withstand a direct hit in the boiler room with the old tryed and true 160 NP. For over 300 yds the 150 ABLR will fold up...
Paul,
Has this ever been resolved? Sept/ Dec to change a barrel
On a new rifle.......... With an obvious upset and anxious customer. If their gunsmith is sooooo overloaded why haven't they hired another one so they can keep up with
their work load???
This gun should have been returned back to...
Well even though I had bait right up till the bitter end, we never shot any more........ So season is officially over as our lake was about half out Tonite. So it will be clear by tomorrow. That's is about one week early. Last year it was the 29th from memory.
Roger,
I called today and they were not real happy to hear from me, again hid behind the fact the photo is infact "generic
photo".....
Ultimately guy said 'send it back and we will refund you'
And informed me that they are way to busy to mess around checking figure on stocks........
Oh well just...
Bruce Mc,
That's an interesting twist, I am going to call them today and see what they are willing to do about it? I hate that run
for cover excuse, " that is just a generic photo" baloney.
My bet is; they say" simply return it" and I will get stuck with the shipping both ways??? Guess you win...
Thanks for that input Mike, my thoughts precisely! Let's see what the other guys say?? Certainly makes it look totally differently than black plastic! I do hate this "well that's a stock photo" . May actually increase the value as much as the stock cost, not sure??
Adds exactly 1 lb over the...
Well it's in and is NOT the stock I actually ordered they are now calling it a "stock picture". However they also called it grade IV/V wood. Is more like grade II/III on one side and it would be a streach to call back side grade I.......
So got till Monday to send it back???? Fits perfectly, and...
Thanks to all! I will post some pics when I get it all lashed
togeather! Should match up to my 150th Anniversary real nicely? Here is that stock for comparison:
Should be easy to pick the right gun to take, either taking the "red pad" or the "black pad". LoL.
6mm; No probably won't...
The first year Winchester came back out with the old control feed ( pre 64) bolts, 1989 I saw one at a show
and snagged it, SS in 30/06.
They referred to my model as the ATR with black composite stock. I used it for nearly 30 years all over
North America and it performed flawlessly.
Recently I...
We are up to # 10 and still trying to get a dozen! With any
luck we should make it by ice out, April 25/ May 1st. They have had very prime fur this winter. But we definitely have the herd thinned out! Couple friends that get fur from us.
Well they just keep on coming! With the help of a couple
of eagles, we did find the run off from last post!
Then shot a double week before about an hour apart.
Male that came back to female. So that was 8, then last Sat we got a last year's pup, #9. And late yesterday right at dark another...
Actually I did get a clip mixed up with "deer loads"
129gr. Shot a coyote few days ago......... Straight thru. Ran
