Not a review yet, BUT a heads up!
They have a couple of hot buys!
Moultrie CELLULAR game cameras normally $179 for $79...... but if you buy TWO, second one $20 bucks. So it's $360 worth for $99 bucks.
Also Browning X-Bolt rifles for $599 or Club Members $550....
Never seen em soooooo cheap!

For me it's a breath of fresh air to listen to someone that has really been there and done it all. Ron sent me a copy of his first movie production he released in 1964 I think, it was called " Alaska Safari" loaded with scenes from hunting camp, kill shots, taken all over Alaska with spectacular...
He is some character, he used to tell us "young fellas" some wild story's about the old days, 40 years ago! I have always had a huge respect for him, as a premiere guide and as a highly regarded fellow pilot! Luv is tales of early Alaska when you could shoot and fly same day, their association...
Do yourself a favor and listen to what One of the all time Legends still living, talks about 75 years hunting & fishing the "GreatLand". He is an old friend of mine, used to see him alot on the rivers, the " real deal". For sure.
I will be smoking up a couple of 7/8lb Togue to go with 100 Perch fillets; to use as Hor d vours at the big "Make a Wish" ( for disabled kids) on Aug 9th , taking place here in Exeter, Maine.
Thanks Mike!
I am real keen on the gun and the GPO scope. It turns out to be a great upgrade over the TC Venture I sold. Since it will spend most of its life on the wing strut of our Cub or on the Ski-doo, as a coyote gun: That will offset the fact it is an 8lb gun scoped up! And it does barely...
Could be a Coyotes worst nitemare??
70gr Varmagettons.......
As you folks that like figured wood can plainly see the light angle has everything to do with the projection of the fiddleback in this one.....
With the right powder and 140ish grain bullets, you actually have a 280 Rem in disguise! I am shooting a Speer bullet over 2900fps as our handload. And Hornady Superformance velocitys, are mirror images thru my chronograph; of most factory ammo velocitys, at 140gr weights, of most .280 Rem...
Yes they did Scotty! And over all I am pleased with all 3 Howas, the Superlite with its petite barrel will NOT hold a group as well as these standard weight 1500's will. But it is certainly more than adequate for hunting out to 400 yds on any cloven hoofed animal in N.A. Of course because it...
New Stock is in.......
What do you all think??? It's certainly FIDDLEBACK...... looks alot like some of the stocks on the JOC model 70's ????
Anyways its for sure an upgrade!

I have no intentions of ever using this as a deer rifle , BUT I can see no reason with a good 75gr bullet, it is certainly capable! I shot lots of coyotes with an old Ruger 77, 25 years ago and it worked good out to 150yds. At 300yds I had lots of problems with the 223. I upgraded to 243 (...
It is Scotty, for short money it has alot going for it, certainly a nice upgrade from my Venture, I was never happy with that 2 position Safety, and had clip issues........ it would shoot moa with right handloads but not nearly like this gun. I do expect I likely will swap fancy Turkish walnut...
Yep that will work! And that old Speer bullet has been around for years, with its 446 BC it has a proven track record on big game. Should make a great little 243 for us. Brookies are biting, better get back to fishing!
Found an old 243 load, we had for 100gr Speer BT, that used 40.5gr of WW 760 so decided to load up a box........ I set the trigger down to 40 oz, and went out to see how it would shoot, that handload. I think it is going to work. What say " the jury" ???
My 30/06 with Hornady Superformance chronographed about identical, to my friends 300 H&H that was shooting standard factory loads. Of course the H&H could be loaded to trim the 06, BUT with Superformance in an 06 you really have a LT Magnum......... believe it or not, as Ripley would say!
