+1-I also note how many times it has been resized on my load labels.
Depending on what I am loading, I usually load in groups of 20, 50, or 100 rounds.
0/0=not fired, not resized
1/0=once fired, not resized
2/1=twice fired, once resized
Hey CC,
I don't doubt your good intentions. These type threads just never have a good outcome.......
Thanks for your second post and good hunting!!
Bob
POP,
My sympathies for your range session.........
It is a shame to only get to shoot one load per rifle, bullet, powder, brass, and primer combination. What a bummer!!
Congrats on the awesome success on the loads.....experience does count for bit, huh???
Most of all, congrats on a day well...
Sorry....won't play. I really don't like threads that are designed to get hunters pissing on each other. I have seen waaaaaay too many of these type of threads. "If you don't hunt the way I do, or the way I have decided is ethical, you are pond scum."
There are many types of hunting and hunting...
Like JD said........I have had Remington 1:14's that would shoot the 60 gr. Partitions and other Remingtons that wouldn't.
You can try them and see. The 53 gr. TSX may be another option for you.
With that said, I pretty much shoot a 55 gr. soft point in my 22-250 now days. My load shoots .5"...
I am totally sold on the Pachmayr XLT Magnum. I had been using the F990 Pachmayr. Tip Burns, my gunsmith, recommended the new XLT Magnum when we switched stocks on my 7mm STW. It is 50 % softer than the Decelerator and won't break down with use.

XLT Magnum
Yep, definately lucky! I usually work up in .5 gr. increments. I was lured into a moment of relaxed vigilance by the "mid-range" information........should have listened. My mistake.
It would be nice to have some actual load data to work with when a new bullet is released. I don't see why this...
Hey Y'all,
I have to tell on myself.
I decided to give the 150 gr. E-Tips a try in my 7mm-08 this week. Nosler recommends using the mid-range loads as max with the E-Tips. I knew better, but decided to take a short cut and load the mid-range to start. I loaded 40.0 grs. of RL-15 using...
Midway has a lot of Frankford Arsenal products on sale currently. Their tumbler kit is on sale for $54.99. I had been using one of theirs for about 10 years now.........

You will be better off getting one without the scope. They usually use very cheap Simmons scopes. Get the rifle and put the best glass you can afford on it.
Here is Bud's link to the rifle to save you some time:
