    Thoughts On Various Decisions

Not sure why he needs access to that information. Hopefully, he doesn't decide to make things personal for the people in this country. Let's not forget, he's here on a work visa.

Requiring liability policy to buy or possess firearms

You speak of accountability and that only applies to the common folk. I wholeheartedly agree with you. Strange times for certain.

    44 mag

If shooting a handgun is new to you, do not be afraid to start close, say 7-10 yds. It is a process and completely different than shooting anything else. Good luck and keep us up to date on the progress.

Completely agree. The attack is on so many levels.

Requiring liability policy to buy or possess firearms

Makes me wonder which clown lobbyists are in his pocket. There is no logic to requiring this when all that happens is that the insurance company collects premiums.

Any plans for a new rifle in 2025?

I may hunt a little with it but honestly, as much as anything else, I liked the idea of a project and it was something different. I have a handful of rifles I can hunt with but primarily for deer and antelope, I use 6.5X284. I think the 325 would be a great elk round. While the cartridge is...

Any plans for a new rifle in 2025?

A little update as to the progress of the 325 WSM. I broke it all the way down, swabbed the barrel and cleaned up the exterior. I have a new Timney trigger( I am not loving the accutrigger) on order, along with some new bases( came with a 25 MOA Pic rail). Next steps are to look for an...

    Painted Stocks

We did this to my 300RUM a handful of years ago. Used a Duracoat decal kit and an airbrush.

Any plans for a new rifle in 2025?

The 325WSM is in my possession. It needs cleaned up and a little TLC, but looking forward to the project in the cold days of winter. It came with about 70 rounds of brass and a set of dies. I will give the once over and then post a pic or two.

10% is outrageous. They should have written you a check back for the years of premiums. But hey, "you might need fire insurance", says the guy off the street scoping out your place.

    Home Insurance

Tracking has completely infiltrated so much of our lives. Phones, apps, useless crap in and on our vehicles. We get a monthly recap of EVERYTHING on my wife's car. When sales reps come to see me, it isn't to sell me something, They actually ask if they can walk my shelves with an I-pad and...

    Nosler 30 cal CC bullets...

1:10 should still stabilize 220gr. This is of course dependent on velocity, but you will not be lacking with 30- 378. The twist in my 300 RUM is 1:10 and 220gr is doable. If you have a faster twist than this (1:9 or 1:8), heavier should be fine.

    Nosler 30 cal CC bullets...

There are a number of 30cal Custom Comp bullets available, all the way up top 220gr. Looks like mixed availability for now, but 190gr is available in 100ct. May want to take a peek at Lapua too. Scenar in both 185 and 220gr.

300 Win Mag accubond consistency issue

Welcome to the forum. There are number of individuals with considerable more expertise than I do, but I might start with checking your rings and bases to be sure something didn't shift or has come loose. Another question would be is all the ammunition from the same loading ( Trophy Grade or...
