Would love to get your opinions on various topics.

Elimination of DEI.

Pullout from Afghanistan.

Pardon of January 6 marchers.

Pardon of Hunter Biden.

Movement of U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

Military Aide to Ukraine.

Taking back the Panama Canel.

Getting out of the United Nations.

Not following the Paris Accord.

Just curious people’s thoughts on these matters.

If I was Trump I would tell Putin we will go all out on your economy and oil if you don't end the war and pull out, including ramping up our production to drive down the global oil prices. I would work out a repayment deal with Ukraine (minerals and natural resources) and tell Putin if he doesn't pull out we will give Ukraine everything they need to decimate his troops. I would guarantee Ukraine doesn't join NATO as long as they are never invaded again.

I don't like that Trump pardoned the violent J-6 people but it totally looks like the whole thing was a set up by the ABC agencies. Expose the truth.

Afghanistan was a cluster F****. We should of never pulled our troops so we could spy on China and have over watch for the region.

Joe and his family were corrupt and the full power of the DOJ should expose that, even if they cant charge "The Family". BTW Joe never pardoned himself. This is like a mob family. Hunter was charged and convicted for being a criminal, of course daddy had to protect him. Same with Fauci and the J-6 committee, expose them all. Transparency is the best disinfectant. If nothing else it will make them toxic to associate with and cut off their ability to make money going forward.

I trust Trump on the rest.

If oil prices come down too much we will lose our refineries again like last time Trump got involved with OPEC. Then we will have another spike in gas prices. But as of this morning OPEC+ told Trump "no" to lowering prices. They also need a certain $per barrel to keep their countries running.

Looks like we are losing track of the Ebola outbreak. USAID offline and all.

Elon just tried to get rid of the direct file tax program that lets regular folks file taxes without having to pay H&R or Intuit. He "deleted" the tech folks that made and run that.

Trump emptied two dams in central California onto farm fields that likely will need the water later for irrigation. I suppose when it evaporates the clouds might blow down south to LA and deliver some rain to the fires?

How about Elon? He now has all your, and my personal information. That is assuming you filed a tax return. He is unelected, annointed himself and beholding to no one, couldn’t get a security clearance. Kinda makes me uncomfortable.
Don’t get me wrong I never liked uncle Joe, been a republican since 1974. The republicans wasted four years trying to hang something on Joe. Couldn’t get it done. They are either inept or guilty of harassment. Trump got himself convicted on 34 felonies. Even with all the advantages provided any defendant his lawyers couldn’t get one Juror seated to say he didn’t do it. Those lawyers have mostly been placed in posistions of authority.
That causes me concern.
If you wondered where the dangerous felons were being released from to walk our streets, now you know.
Neither Hegseth, Gabbard or Kennedy could pass a back ground check to get a job at any CALEA certified, or any other PD for that matter, based on what’s in the public record, yet they are being considered for some of the most sensitive jobs in the country. Common, we couldn’t do better?
Afganistan was Trumps treaty. Biden excuse was he couldn’t violate the treaty. Joe had the last best chance to fix it but we know because we were trying to get Catherines interpreter out of Afganistan no plan had been made by either one to make that happen.
Groceries, forget about it. Believe me it ain’t the farmers. Daughter makes less per unit on grain crops, vegtables and beef than her Grandfather did.
The republicans wasted the last four years where they could have got something done. Now they won’t be able to do anything unless Musk says go ahead. That of course will be problematic. In two years there will be the midterms. I’ll bet a dollar right now we get hammered unless congress pulls it’s head out of its ass and shuts Musk down.

Any of you work with the Small Business Administration. Received grants, loans, or have them help you get government contracts? Elon has just gained access to their files.

Not sure why he needs access to that information. Hopefully, he doesn't decide to make things personal for the people in this country. Let's not forget, he's here on a work visa.

Personally I don’t care if OPEC goes broke.
I’d like to see them go back to being goat fornicating inbred nomads.

I’ll refrain from commenting as what I have to say isn’t fit for polite company. I’m not in favor of the primary purpose of the agency. I’m not big on foreign aid.

They can still file.

Haven’t heard about this so I’ll refrain from commenting until I know more.

I’m willing to give my President, and his administration, the benefit of the doubt. We’ve had politicians doing their best to turn this country communist since the end of WWII. President Trump is just stalling the inevitable end of our nation as long as we have democrats.

President Trump is cutting the size of a vile government. Of this I applaud and commend. I’d like to see 90% of the federal government abolished. Do I agree with everything he does or is going to do? No. Not at all. He believes in qualified immunity for law enforcement. I don’t. I’m for accountability and qualified immunity eliminates accountability.

I stopped believing in this country a while back. I won’t harm it but I won’t defend it either. I had hoped that the TEA Party and Bundy Standoff would be the conflagration to right this country but instead we keep heading down the road to the inevitable. President Trump is merely a speed bump on that road.

Musk makes me nervous, not because he was unelected, but merely because of who he has proven to be. He is often foolish, usually selfish, and deffinitely potentially dangerous. My brother is working on technology right now that may give people alternative communication options to things like Twitter (or whatever they call it now), which I think is needed considering the lording over that big businesses excercise on their platforms. Some people thought when Musk bought Twitter that he might make it more open, then he just did whatever suited his personal agenda. Put him in a government position, one that seems to have been designed to circumvent typical hierarchy, and yes I'm nervous. Trump seems to be using Musk's role as a way to control money while bypassing the middle man so to speak, which I can see being useful, and I don't expect that his role is intended to be for general use, rather it can be a way to target specific spending that Trump wants to shut down quickly. As a side effect though Musk is put in a position that allows for potentially very underhanded activity. I feel like Trump put Musk in this position as a reward for supporting his election, but that support at times had every appearance of illegal activity. My question is, what will keep Musk from trying to get his hands in the cookie jar, because I don't think it will be any personal scruples.

I don't believe I have seen anything worse than the Biden administration, but I have plenty of hesitations with what we will see under Trump's second term. I have not verified that he actually said this, but I heard someone claim Trump was quoted to have said Manifest Destiny is back on the table... This sounds very imperialistic in notion at this stage and would be concerning to me. Again unverified, I was told that Trump had a very heated conversation with the Prime Minister of Greenland which Trump is considering an attempt to purchase. If this and the idea of taking over Panama are true, I feel like it could be a panic power grab in anticipation of China's continued rise in power. Basically try to out empire China. This attitude could be motivated by fear that we are distancing ourselves from our military allies with what some are calling economic warfare with friendly countries. I believe we need better trade agreements with many of our allies, so I think Trumps decisions there are only practical, but even though it will make many countries upset, I think we need to have some confidence in our military alignment with those allies. Most of our allies don't want a Chinese takeover any more than we do, so an attempt at acquiring more territory seems like it could actually worsen our relationships farther, while also running the risk of stretching ourselves too far across the world. It would be very bad if the U.S. started to look like another China gearing up to take over whatever we can, so I am not into the idea of a revived Manifest Destiny.

As I said I have not verified all of that though. I am just watching at this point, trying to predict what moves will be made and why, then waiting to see if I'm right. It is hard for me to keep up with everything, so we shall see.
