    Nosler Model 21, 28 Nosler

7mm hits the sweet spot... flies great, hits hard, penetrates great with heavies yet can still blow up a coyote with lighter bullets. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

Smokeless powder isn't considered explosive, only highly flammable.... Black powder is an explosive. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

    Vaccine mandate and Nosler

My thoughts exactly....I said it way back when they first started testing the vaccines. The virus is real... but the hype is about money more than anything else, much the same as EVERYTHING else in this world is these days. Making decisions solely based on money is hurting the world in ways...

    Henry Big Boy ejection

The soot is likely just the H110... which is a great powder, not saying it isn't at all, but it is hard to get burning good. I use Accurate 4100/Ramshot Enforcer (same powder, different label, manufacturer confirmed)...it is ever so slightly faster burning than 110, and easier to ignite...same...

Mine shoots Swift A-Frame bullets much better than Hornady XTP's. Those A-Frames are pricey, painfully so, but for hunting it isn't so bad after load development and sight in...I only shoot about 5 to 10 of them per year...on game performance is excellent and dependable, no matter what kind of...

    Henry Big Boy ejection

It could be the extractor, or a combination of extractor and ejector. The extractor isn't very hard to get at either, but is a little more involved than the ejector, requiring some disassembly of the bolt itself and a small spring that can get away sometimes as small springs like to do...

    Henry Big Boy ejection

Forgot to mention.... side gate or not, they all come apart and go back together the same way... the action is exactly the same. The side gate is just held on with a single screw that can be a bit of a pain to get back in sometimes, but you don't need to remove it to change the ejector. Sent...

    Henry Big Boy ejection

All that said.... Henry does have EXCELLENT customer service, they will fix it for you if you can't. They're known for being very quick about it too... but I'm not sure how the current situation with the pandemic and all that figures in.... seems everywhere is short handed right now. Sent...

    Henry Big Boy ejection

If the ejector is broken (it is usually the spring side) make sure you get both pieces out. Take care not to over tighten the screw that holds the lever in the receiver... just snug it down firmly... they do jar loose some with shooting, as do most other screws on lever actions... every time...

    Henry Big Boy ejection

Sounds like a broken ejector...if it's pulling the case back out of the chamber but not kicking it out of the receiver that's the most likely culprit. Call or email Henry and ask them to send you an ejector...its not a part that requires fitting, should just drop right in... I'd say they'll...

    7mm 160 gr. BT

I haven't kept up with things much the past couple years...I didn't know they were making the BT in 160 grains...I like it. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

    Reloading Accubond Question

H4350 is hard to beat in the 30-06 with 165 - 180 grain bullets... excellent load density, excellent velocity, and excellent accuracy... not fussy at all about length either in my experience. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

Upped my fishing game today.... comfy boat

Finally got the boat I ordered 5 months ago, Suntracker Bass Buggy 18 with a 75 hp Mercury 4 stroke. Still got some modifications to do to make it a proper catfishing machine....a remote controlled trolling motor, batteries, lights, etc. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

    Covid shot

Yes... to be clear...I don't hold it against anybody for getting or not getting the shot. It is a personal choice, for some its in their best interest to get it, for others its not. I don't believe a shot is going to make this go away though, it is mutating way too quickly for that. Sent...

    Covid shot

Also...contrary to what you hear and read... the hospital is full of fully vaccinated people. They're really underplaying the number and severity of "breakthrough" cases in the news...if this one hospital is any indication. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

    Covid shot

I've lost one friend to Covid...toughest SOB I ever knew, whooped everybody that ever tried him back in school... he was a diabetic though. Got sick mid October 2020, got somewhat better but still had it, went downhill again December 23, died on the 26th. RIP Billy. That did not make me want...
