im shooting 58gr H4831 and for COL id say as far as ur magazine allows. My load is sitting .035 off the lands.

I have been loading 140gr accubonds over H4831sc with excellent results. I agree its the best bullet made in .277cal. This year alone dropped two mule deer in their tracks with it. Im sure you will love them. Good luck

If you are going to buy a vanguard and replace the stock and trigger I have a different suggestion. I would just buy a howa barreled action in whatever caliber you want and buy a stock. IMO
