    Strange find in 7600 Rem!

It is kinda interesting; the uninformed public, is so totally fascinated by someone else's personal idea: That a gun with 3.5" shorter barrel, is the only right choice? That it will command such a huge premium??? Since collector value, is of almost no concern to these "tracker decipels". Paying...

Looking for a 25 cal 120gr HP type bullet

Well a bullet that is and was superior to the Hornady in lots of ways that is often over looked is the old Speer 120 gr. It has a proven track record for 40 years. Has outrageous high BC. But it doesn't fit the bill of coming in a fancy box with foil lettering or in quantity's of only 50...

    Strange find in 7600 Rem!

It's a pretty localized fad at the moment, there are a lot more buyers than there are good guns for sale. The fact they are much less out west, confirms this. However now that folks are aware of crazy prices. Guys that had no intention of selling, are now offering them a ridiculous prices; and...

Alaskan Brown Bear Almost gets the Hunters

Quote: What has happened to old fashioned woodsmanship and stalking skills, coupled with the ability (ethics) to NOT take a risky shot? Great question, sadly it has taken the same path as the DoDo bird..... Today the modern hunter is much more likely to show up with a big MAGNUN rifle ( he...

    Strange find in 7600 Rem!

This one sold last night on GB for $1450 plus 3% CC fee and $65 shipping so the buyer has $1550!!!! Scope is pretty much worthless, and of course he will add Skinner sight and fiber front. So he will spoil $1700 before he gets saddled up.

    Strange find in 7600 Rem!

There is a total phenomenon here in the Northeast, fueled by the videos of a group of folks that are die hard trackers. They have a large following of " wanta be" groupie sorta hunters that seam to mimic their "heros" every move. To include the clothes they wear, boots they prefer, cartridges...

    Strange find in 7600 Rem!

Not sure what I should do with it ??? They are a very hot item here in NE, among all the "Whitetail trackers" and are fetching absurd prices! I had a .358 Savage 99 Featherweight , I used from the time I was 30/ till 60 with receiver sight for tracking big bucks and snowy day hunting. However a...

    Strange find in 7600 Rem!

I recently ordered a 7600 pump that looked very nice in photos, well it arrived yesterday and I was dumbfounded when I began to inspect it. Not one scratch on the slide rails, clip follower showed never having a cartridge loaded into it! A quick peak up the bore revealed factory cosmolean still...
