Which is the better low light optic?

Quail season in South Texas used to go until the end of February. Back in the day groups often shared hunting leases. The bird hunters had it from 1st Jan to end of Feb. The deer hunters used it for the three months of deer season.

I tried to trade a Glock 43 for a p 365 at a shop in Houston a while back. The guy wouldn't take the trade, said he couldn't move the Glock.

IMHO, so many different shooters make the results less accurate. In fact adding a human factor makes it inaccurate. The only thing I agreed with was their conclusion that factory ammo is good enough. I did enjoy reading the article none the less.

I thought about getting one back at the turn of the century but even then brass was soooo expensive. 220 Swift +

That is a slick looking rifle. Good luck with your hunting. Looking forward to seeing pictures. I recall traveling through the Black Forest in the 70s and seeing shooting houses in all the clearing as we passed by. I thought it would be an adventure to hunt there.

Alas I have but a very small amount of Reloder 22 on the shelf. Just enough to keep me in 257 Roberts loads for a few years.

Grand performs the same in 270 win with 150gr bullets. High velocity very low deviations. Best with magnum primers.

There has also been a number of sympathetic discharges involving glocks.

There is a super grade stock on ebay that states it is for a featherweight barrel contour. Big bucks though.

After you told me it was a Galco I realized I have one of those in black for my 5" 1911. I bought it for almost the same reason. I thought it would be more comfortable to wear when I was traveling in uniform rather than wearing my duty belt. I could just tack on when I get out of the car.

That's a fine load there. Mine shoots small groups with the same combo.

Harrison makes a really nice u'notch rear sight that fits the milspec rear sight slot. They also have a corresponding stake in front sight if your 1911 has such.
