Figured out smoking a chuck roast

Tried smoking a chuck roast a couple times and they always came out dry. This time I dissolved beef tallow in bone broth and injected the roast, smoked up until the stall and added a few more dabs of tallow and wrapped in paper. Pulled at 203*. Used head country championship rub. Insanely juicy...

    Down 65 lbs. goal reached

i credit fasting with most of my success. I usually did my eating between noon and 8 pm then didn't eat again until noon the next day. The times are not as important as long as you fast for 16 hours. most get all their calories consumed in 8 hours and then fast for 16. I chose my times because...

    Down 65 lbs. goal reached

300 Win Mag accubond consistency issue

do you still have the old scope to swap out and shoot again? I'd bet something has let loose in your new scope. I'd get an RMA slip from the manufacturer and let them go over it.

    Call For A Coal Miner

I think this is my favorite design I have come up with! A WV coal miner reached out to me with some basic elements he wanted in a turkey call. I ran with it and came up with this design for a glass call. It will be double sided with slate on the bottom (as a nod to coal mining) and set in wormy...

the heavy wads for non-toxic shot are shipped without slits. I ran it through a TPS wad and it did just what it looked like it would do.

    Identify Mystery Reloading Tool

Recently I have taken an interest in shotshell reloading, mostly for TSS loads for the 20 and 410. I picked up a box of odds and ends shotshell reloading gadgets at a sale a while back and found this in a section of cardboard tube. It's old and homemade. Its a turkey striker with 4 of the...
