I load 180gr Speer deepcurls over 56.5gr on IMR4350, in my '06, with an honest 3/4" group at 100yds. I've never chronoed this load, as I dont care how fast it is. It is a deadly combo!

Yeah im thinking of running 120-130gr bullets in mine. It will fit nicely between my 257 ackley with 100gr bts and my 280 with 140gr bts.

Im going to keep my eye on this thread, as that is the caliber im going with in my model 70 build

Seems like every 7mm mag Ive come across prefers flat base bullets.

The few that I have handled all had a tighter slide to frame fit than any colt I've ever owned. They are a solid pistol.
