Older in particular, Dovetailed Centrefire rifles

G'Day Fella's, For some time now, I have had a thing for Post WWII sporting rifles. In particular, being a British Colony and luckily, Australia had it's fair share of UK built sporting firearms in use here. We also had no shortage of other European sporting rifles, like firearms made by Brno...

    22-250 Ackley Improved Advice

G'Day Fella's, Andrew C, I have basically the same rifle (26", 1in 14" twist in .22-250AI -40 Degree). The only thing I can contribute to your situation, is don't trim new cases, until after fire forming. Hope that helps Doh! Homer

    .25-06 do it all?

G'Day Fella's, Guy, the .25-06 is a great hunting cartridge (I've owned one for 30+ years), especially for Deer but it does have limitation! When it comes to larger species of Deer/Antlered Game (Elk/Wapiti, Moose), I would prefer to take a .30-06 or a .375 H&H if I already owned them. Good...

A bit of the Old and some of the New

G'Day Fella's, Polaris, I may have miss represented this rifle's size a bit? The magazine length on this little Beesa, is a bit shorter than required for a .308Win. With a bit of work, it will accept detachable AR magazine, and I have a few AR mags for the 7.62x39. So that maybe where I go...
