G'Day Fella's,
LRH, sounds like a fine dangerous game rifle you have their!
Save up and get back to using it in Africa, as soon as you possibly can, you will never regret the sacrifices.
FYI, have a look at the new http://www.woodleighbullets.com.au Hydrostatically Stabilised (Hydro's-see...
G'Day Fella's,
Thank You SJB 358, I hope you are enjoying the view.
Yes, me to Hodgeman (Safety)! I kinda use the safety, like I'm cocking a Hammer.
I run out of space before, so here is a view of the rifle.
Now here are a few images of a BSA "Royal" Featherweight rifle (Bottom) and a BSA...
G'Day Fella's,
For some time now, I have had a thing for Post WWII sporting rifles.
In particular, being a British Colony and luckily, Australia had it's fair share of UK built sporting firearms in use here.
We also had no shortage of other European sporting rifles, like firearms made by Brno...
G'Day Fella's,
Guy and Polaris, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the view.
Unfortunately, the images do not do the wood and engraving justice, it really is That Good!
Regards
Homer
Here are some other images.
By the way, it is chambered in .308 Win (if only it had been a 7 x 57 Mauser.....) and has a Schmidt and Bender 1 1/2 to 6 X scope attached.
Enjoy

G'Day again,
Whilst not in the same league as the above Hagn falling block rifles, here are some images of a Heym-Ruger "HR-38" (No1), that I purchased a while back.
Doh!

Sorry about that HTDUCK, I know what you mean. Imagine what it was like, handling these rifles!
Mate, I should have provided a "Handkerchief Required" WARNING, at the beginning.
LOL!
Homer
G'Day Folk's,
Pleased to hear you are enjoying the images.
Here are a few more of the .270.
and also, the smaller sized .17Rem and .223 Rem switch barrel.
Regards
Homer
G'Day Fella's,
Andrew C, I have basically the same rifle (26", 1in 14" twist in .22-250AI -40 Degree).
The only thing I can contribute to your situation, is don't trim new cases, until after fire forming.
Hope that helps
Doh!

G'Day Fella's,
Guy, the .25-06 is a great hunting cartridge (I've owned one for 30+ years), especially for Deer but it does have limitation!
When it comes to larger species of Deer/Antlered Game (Elk/Wapiti, Moose), I would prefer to take a .30-06 or a .375 H&H if I already owned them.
Good...
G'Day Preacher,
No mate, they work exceedingly well on both Small and Large Game!
This is the exit wound on a Red Dog (Fox), shot at around 120 meters.
Hope that helps
Doh!

G'Day Fella's,
Polaris, I may have miss represented this rifle's size a bit?
The magazine length on this little Beesa, is a bit shorter than required for a .308Win.
With a bit of work, it will accept detachable AR magazine, and I have a few AR mags for the 7.62x39. So that maybe where I go...
G'Day Fella's,
Yes indeed, Rigby Mauser's rifle and stock is very nice!
Here is another view of the Circassion Walnut on my .375 H&H and also, the Australian grown English Walnut on my .404 Jeffery.
Enjoy,
Homer
