Would stepping up to 300gr bullets be an option? Would work better with LRT.

I’ve only ran RL-33 and 300s in mine. The usual suspects H1000 and Retumbo would be a better choice in my opinion for 250s.

The bullet diameter would be a dead give away as it’s the only cartridge with it😁. I should have stated I know it , just seeing if anyone could guess it.

How are you weighing your charges , that may shed some light on your high ES?

What brand of brass are you using? Wondering if there was a mix lot to cause a hard to eject round a brass. How did the other 2 eject from the 57.5 gr load.

Once we hit mid October the four letter word (snow) does happen. This year we are still in a warm spell.

I did look at the 101gr Hammers but Barnes are over 1/2 the price less. I do have Hammers loaded in 3 calibers but the tipped Barnes have done so well for me.

I would agree , having a 30-30 , 308 Win , 30-06 , 300 Wby and a 30-378 Wby. I also have a 300 WM barrel for a Howa/Vanguard laying around. 30cal. is about where affordable factory ammo ends if you’re not rolling your own.

I’ve shot my boy’s 378 Wby with the brake off and it does get your attention. My 416 Wby is pleasant to shoot with 350 or 400gr bullets. Now the 500gr A-tips at 2600fps have a noticeable increase in recoil , unpleasant no. I do have quite an assortment of bullets loaded for mine.

30-30 is what I’m looking at. I’m thinking they would expand better than the 110gr TTSX.
