Grand and H1000 are next to each other on the burn chart. The difference is I can get enough Grand into a 270 win case to approach max load. You can't get close with H1000.

What cartridge is the rifle you are wanting to convert. You'll likely need a different magazine box and a follower spring in addition to the trigger guard assembly.

I installed a Jard trigger in my number 1 and I'm considering trying the Hicks accurizer. I've read several very positive reviews. Some have just inletted the block and some have epoxy bedded the block. Maybe someone will speak up here.
I bought a bell and Carlson with aluminum bedding block for my Model 70 classic in 7mm mag. The original wood stock grouped better than the synthetic. Skim bedding the stock may help the B&C group better but I haven't gotten around to it.
I found Re 16 works great in 270 Win and 130 gr Partition. Velocity 3100 or so in 22" barrel and good groups. I also use in 243 win with 70gr BT. 3640 fps and small groups. It also gives very good accuracy in 220 swift and 55gr bullets but not top velocity. That's all I've done wit Re 16...
The FBI adopted the 9mm +p Hornady Critical Duty 135gr for their agents. The results of the FBI test protocols can be seen at Hornady web site. I have not fired any of this ammo so can't speak first hand.
When I exhaust my supply of Hydra shok ammo I plan on taking a look at the Hornady critical duty 135 gr 9mm. It too has passed all the penetrative and barrier tests.
