The 9.3X62 Mauser is supposed to be a fairly potent round. It has that classic 375 H&H, 2500FPS flair to it. A big bullet at a decent velocity, I can't see why it wouldn't make an excellent moose rifle. I'd be interested in how that round performs.

I did that once and now have 200 rnds of 40 S&W loaded with a cast 175 grain TWC bullet that wouldn't shoot well in the Para 1640 i used to have. JT

i used to load Retumbo and a 130 AB in a pre 64 M70. It shot really well, was 3300FPS with a 26" barrel. That was a max load tho. JT.

That much room on the press would be nice even for the RUM family of rounds. Can't really go wrong fpr $85.
