Is there a possibility of incorrect bullet diameter? You didn't mention the cartridge but .308 with a .311 comes to mind. The cases did need full length resizing as indicated by difficulty chambering and case length may have also been an issue. A cartridge with an over-length case may be...

I have the TLE II but less than 10,000 through it. Never a bobble of any kind. I wore out the internals on my old Colt Commander but had changed recoil springs religiously. Had to have new hammer, sear and disconnector but it was good for slide and frame.

What about the powder in the can? Is it still good?

No idea of this. Why was is in stoppered glass bottles? Anyway, something reacted with some of the powder components. What happened to the cork? What about the bottles with other powders?

Looks like RL 26 on the 257 Weatherby. I have an Accumark in the safe. Been pissed at it for fifteen years. Maybe I need to try RL 26. The others looked good.

Polaris, I think politicians and statisticians are as professions both suspect. They tend to state facts as they prefer to interpret them.
