Most of our stands are positioned on ridges and allow for entry from behind using the terrain for cover. We also rake a path for silent entry. For the morning hunt, our green led headlights illuminate our travel. Once in a while we see deer and our silent down wind approach doesn't really spook...
When I had my 280 AI built, load development was quick and easy with some pretty nice groups.
My gunsmith suggested I try Magnum primers. My groups went to bug holes!

Love my Marlin 1895G 45-70
I'm running the Nosler 300 gr BST at 2100 fps. Mt best group went .400" at 100 yds. Longest kill was a crop damage deer at 160 yds. I did recover one from a WT deer when it was first introduced.
