Scotty/Paul,
Thank guys! I’m pretty excited to shoot it, but they just extended the lockdown until 15 Feb! I’m chomping at the bit to go and get my ammo for it so I can send a few down range!
V/R,
Joe
Dear Team Nosler,
I've recently began experiencing trouble getting onto the Forum from my I-phone here in Europe, Stuttgart specifically. When I click on the site, I get:

I kind of like Guy’s idea of a 25-05. It’s got tolerable recoil, shoots plenty fast and flat for coyotes, and had more than enough for any deer that walks the earth. That said, there are no flies on the 243 Win or 260 Rem!

Joe
Hi Guys!
Any chance I can get an assist for a list of powders at 64K psi for my 6.5x68 with a 26” barrel and 125 grain Nosler Partitions? Hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas season and thank you in advance!
V/R,
Joe
Guys,
Thank you! It's a neat little package that I'm excited to shoot! Germany is currently on a pretty severe lockdown and I can't pick up the ammunition that I ordered, so it looks like I'll have to wait a bit before I can get out with it. Looking at the twist rate, it looks like Nosler...
With all the Ruger #1 posts going up, I thought I’d join in with my latest report. It’s no secret that I love mountain hunting. I’ve done my best to continue to do so here in Europe and that means hunting gams, aka chamois! Having used a friend’s 25-06 last year on them, I was excited to bring...
Thanks guys. The rifle belongs to the Forst Meister who manages the area for wildlife. I believe that the position typically requires doctorate in Forestry. He explained that the rifle was his father’s and is one of the many great examples of a German/American partnership. A fan of the German...
Thank you, guys! This hunt was at the Hohenfels training area in Bavaria. It was a cull hunt to keep the numbers manageable. The state then butchers the meat and offers it for sale to the public, hence the required use of lead free. It compares well with elk as a game meat. I saw a bunch of big...
So lucked into a Red Deer today using a friend’s, apparently very lucky, Sauer M80 rifle. Was shooting Barnes 180 TSX on top of a 300 WBY, wearing a can. It’s nice and quiet with very little recoil, everything a 300 WBY shouldn’t be. Managed to put one behind the shoulder at a bit under 50...
Scotty,
I suppose hell hath frozen over if Bill left his trusty 300 at home and you broke out the (gasp) 30-06! All jokes aside, congratulations to all of you guys! It's awesome that you were able to honor your loved one with your rifle selection, making a tough shot, and harvesting a great...
So I’ve got dies on order, which won’t be ready until December (special order that they apparently have to make), and some 125 grain Partitions. With a 26” barrel those bullets should be scooting with a little N570 behind them!
V/R,
Joe
My word! That’s some kind of entrance hole! Congratulations on your deer! Any pointers for someone considering making the jump from 300 WBY? I’ve got a 1-12 twist MK V that might have a new barrel in its future! Im not a real big speed demon anymore, but that cartridge looks like a fun one...
