I've used Starline for some time and have not had any major issues. One bag of .17 Rem brass had spots on it , but cleaned up when I put it through the tumbler.

Before I turned my 722 Remington .257 Roberts into a .257 Ackley Improved. This load was a three shot group with 100 grain NBT, 43.5 grains of IMR-4350, Federal 210M primers, and JBA brass. The load was never shot through a chronograph.
Finding a person that knows what they're doing and getting the proper fit is so important to shooting, regardless if it is hunting, skeet, trap, or sporting clays. I was glad to see that you've went through the process of getting it fitted. I have two shotguns that are fitted for shooting skeet...
I own 6 lever actions and it would be hard to part with any of them, but my 45-70 is the current favorite. This is subject to change, if I ever acquire that Winchester model 71 in .348.
Winchester model 1873 in 38-40 (given to me by an uncle)
Browning model 1895 in 30-06

My 7mm Remington Magnum has been used to take deer, elk, and bear, so it has to rank as a favorite. That said, I also have a soft spot for the 300 Winchester Magnum. Back in 1965 I went into our local hardware store that sold Remington and Winchester rifles. My intent was to purchase a...
I love my Ruger #1AB in 7x57, but have this thing for having a 6.5x55 in a Winchester 70 Featherweight or a in a Tikka. Until I have both side by side I don't think I can choose.
There is nothing wrong with the 30-06 it's self. My first introduction was a Springfield 03A3 that had been sporterized. Today the safe still holds two, a M1 Garand and a Browning 1895. As for cartridges built of the 06 case, I have two 280s, a Ruger #1 and a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle, a...
My oldest son is shooting a Seekins PH2 Element in 7 PRC. He is the Store Manager of one of the Scheels stores. If it didn't perform well and wasn't a shooter, I don't think he would be keeping it long.
I agree! Howie, your calls look amazing. You seem to not only build them but understand them in depth. Have you ever built a call that you just weren't happy with? I believe that I may need to own one of your calls going forward. Now the big decision, which will it be!
Getting issued an M14 was my introduction, and will always have a soft spot for it. If it wasn't a great cartridge it would not have been used to parent so many others.
