The new heavy hitter. I just received the barrel action yesterday and pillar bedded and free floated to the stock. 8 mm Remington Magnum with fast 1 to 9 twist pac nor Ultra match fluted Barrel. Timney trigger and the whole thing cerakoted in sniper Gray. Loaded up some 200 grain accubonds...

Don't forget the 127 Barnes lrx that thing is a killer in my 6.5 RPM and 6.5 * 300 Weatherby. Brian Lytz retested it and he came up with a .500 BC..... that is kind of comical because it's one of the few bullets where the manufacturer has it lower than it actually is as far as BC is concerned

Just about any 140 gr bullet will do. In the well behaved, pedestrian 6.5 swede this will work just fine.

I agree that Hammers are indeed very good in what they were designed to do. Much better than barnes in the smaller calibers. I just can't see eventually paying $130.00 for 50 bullets that are listed for 100.00. And the 130 is before tax insurance and shipping
