IMR 4350 is as good a 270 win 130 gr powder as any.

I faithfully use IMR 4831 in my 270 Win as well. Staball 6.5 is just about as good as the old IMR standby in my rifle, velocity and accuracy are great as well. Staball will also save you a few dollars over 4350, but both will serve you equally.
I’d agree with this fully. Hunter and plain old H4831 are great ones as well.

Dad's favorite 270 powder was IMR4350. Used it for 130's and 150's.
I used H4831 for a while then switched to Winchester's now long gone WMR. It gives basiclly the same velouty and better accuracy in my .270 Rifle. It's also a winner in my .280 Rem. and .300 Win. Mag. I have no idea why it's a disaster in the 30-06 but even Winchester's load data showed it as not working.

I always used H4831sc in my 130 and 140gr 270 loads. I am sure H4350 will work well. I would also look at n555 and n160 and Ramshot Hunter

IMR4350 is a great choice for the 270 Win. H4831 is the classic powder.

well as i did when reloading 130's. now i'd probably use n560/n555. i only used imr4831 in 264wm.

With Barnes TTSX, my 270 loved RL17. SD was 3. H4831 was the previous owners go to powder, but i was seeing SD's like 30 so set it aside for RL17. CCI primers. Using Norma Brass. Previous owner used mixed headstamps. I have some starline that I will be teaming up with Nosler BT's and PT's... hopefully Accubonds as well. I've gotten fatigued by case prep and find, with Norma, i do a lot less and get a lot better results. Starline seems to be fine, but not as good as Norma.... i like two head stamps as i can keep my brass seperated for loads better. Started that on the 45/70 Gov for Hornady FTX325 that needed a unique trim length.. so all my FTX325's get FC brass, everything else gets starline.. (Barnes factory loads in 45/70 was using Starline when i bought my 4570 (2018)

On the rifles I have loaded IMR4350 in most proved to pretty accurate...and in a few, it was as far as I went in powder choice as it worked so well right from the start.

270 Range report.
Tested H414 and H4831SC, starline brass, cci LR. Used Nosler manual for recipes with NBT130.
H414 52.5. Ave 2963fps and SD 18
H414 53.5. Ave 3002fps and SD 13
H414 54.5. Ave. 3044 and SD of 5
H4831SC 57.0. Ave 2789. Sd 22
H4831SC 58.0. Ave 2862. Sd 18
H4831SC 59.0. Ave 2927. Sd 9
All seated at Nosler recommended length.
For sure I’ll do a little more exploring with H414 between 53.5 and 55.? No pressure signs at 54.5.
I’ll also explore the H4831SC maybe another grain as it’s lower than expected v’s
I do have a RL 17 that’s behaving well with Barnes. Could find a RL17 for NBT.
