I agree with the guys above, if you are looking to spend that much, he would be better served with several more task specific, quality knives than just one really expensive one

No problem, I've done a few with 1095, but sent them out for the heat treat, I have a stick of D2 that I'll eventually do a couple out of when I get time again. I was making them when I was living/working in California and had left the guns in Montana.

I just realized the new Lucite Cartridge Display they released in 2025 is now outdated...

My first version didn't have that but asked Gil what bullets he was running, and being as they're tipped I knew I would want them jabbing into me if I slipped so added the pocket
