Not a target bullet, great mid speed hunting bullet thou IMO. I like the old yellow box 180 grain Mag Tip in my 20" Savage 99 .308 Win. Like to run it about 2400-2500 fps with Varget. 41

Bruce you should be able to get close, this RL26 is amazing stuff. I'm over 3250 fps with 150 grain LRAB in my 270 winchester, but with a 26" bbl 41
