Had a 338 win mag killed several elk with it along with some white tails and mule deer. Have 2 338 rums overkill for deer but absolutely hands down my favorite elk cartridge.

I grew up in eastern South Dakota, chased lots of pheasants and white tails in the corn fields. Loved the western part of the state. I miss it.
