Anyone shooting Retumbo in their 6.5-284? I see people posting on sites about it, but never found a listed powder range. I have been using RL-19 per the Nosler data with good results, but never hurts to play around. Thanks -

Loading some 45-70 with Oregon Trail 350 & 405 cast bullets Been using RL-7 (Guy's load of 40 gr and some hotter). Lots of people reference using 25-26 gr of 2400. But I can't find published min and max powder charges for this powder. Anyone have a reference? -

You I surfed YouTube last night, ordered an extractor from Midway. The bolt face is based upon a 223. I am impressed with the 6x45. Very mild recoil, 70 gr bullets at 3050 FPS. Will take to central Oregon next month and chase coyotes. -

Did that.....seems to function fine. Here is a link to a video https://imgur.com/a/Rx2MLXH I shot probably 30 rounds through it today and only 4 of the earlier rounds ejected when I ran the bolt fast. All the others were like shown in the video. -

I bought a used Rem 700 SPS. Rifle was originally a 223 but had a Shilen barrel placed in 6mm. Shoots great but.....brass extracts but does not eject. Extractor leaves brass inside the mag well (bdl) Are the Ben great ejectors that are meant to do this or is the a ejector problem? -

How good are Savage's accustocks?
I was looking at the Savage catalog yesterday. Savage now has an Accufit stock that has the same aluminum frame in the stock but also includes adjustable length and comb. Also shows 280AI as a caliber choice. Although no 280AI available yet. -

I have an Accustocked 6.5-284 N weather warrior. Stock is much more rigid than other Savage stocks I have owned. Rifle shoots very well. Savage seems to have created a flood of different price point rifles (as has Ruger, etc). Guess you pick where you want to be. That being said, seems... -
