I have a couple boxes of this and in my G40 with optics sighted in with 200gn bullets. This ammo shot low and left. Much easier to handle also (recoil). have not done any penetration test or on game performance. It does look interesting though.
That's a tough call. I like most of the manufacturers different models for different reasons.

The only 30-06 I owned was a Sako Finnbear. That was probably 40 years ago. I owned it for two seasons. Last one I had. I still miss that gun. I have a few 30 cal but not in a 30-06. Don't know why......
Yea that's funny. I have more cameras being messed with by bears every year. Then I get clos ups of eyes - nose - ears..... They haven't tore one off the tree yet.

The turkeys in the yard were making a racket Sunday. Not so much on Saturday. I also think they are moving up in elevation. I'm on a canyon edge at 2600' . Up till last week it be unusual to not see 50 -100 turkeys driving up or down the canyon. Last couple days not so much.

I picked up a early '70s vintage 700 BDL in a 270W back in the mid '90s. It appeared new. All blueing on bolt slides. The barrel looked clear. I put it in a syn stock. Put a VXII 3x9-40 on it.
Bore sighted it and took a shot at 100 yds. Using Federal Premium 130 Barnes ( I think..), found...
