I use magic markers to color code the primer pockets for different bullet weights. This could also be used to identify different powder types or weights, primers or seating depths.
I use a sharpie to write charge weights and COAL info on the case.

and they have excellent glass.

There are not many 700 Classics for sale so they get top dollar. They are going for $1200-$1500 depending on condition and chambering. The 257 Roberts is highly sought after.

I use the same load in my 700 Classic. This is a long/magnum action and a 24” barrel. I seat the bullet out to a COAL 2.900” and get 3100 fps and .3” groups.

Is the H4350 speed of 2970 a typo? Maybe 2570 fps? My limited experience with monos is that they hit to a different POI. My guess is barrel harmonics.

My wife shot a buck last year that we decided to get mounted. I was shocked at what the cost was. It really jumped up from 2020 when she shot a dandy that was mounted.
I’ll let the kids worry about the mounts when we are gone
