for those who haven't heard or don't know who he is i'm letting this forum know he has passed on due to complications. no obituary has been posted on the local funeral home's site yet (carmichael-whatley canadian, tx) and not totally sure if the family will post on there. although we are from the same town i don't know him that well, but have had conversations with him at the lumber yard and tire shop. we both graduated from the same hs as he was 10-12 years older than i. if i find any info i'll post back

I have talked to him on the phone and used his final finish bore lapping kits.

One of those masters of the art of the rifle who always seemed to have time for every one and anyone. I read he had knee replacement surgery that became infected and he became very ill very quickly. Sad deal.

supposedly the infection was due to him using a hot tub according to my mother? i'm not sure if they did the amputation or not before he passed. i was only told he was admitted last week around friday, but unsure about that day?

RIP Mr. Tubb.
I had the pleasure over the years talking on the phone with him on some of his products. Every time I called he would answer the phone. Truly an innovator in the shooting world.
