After getting home from work today off came the snowtires. Spring is slow to arrive here , not 1 single dandelion to be seen. Landscape is still brown with no greening in sight. Need some warm rain instead of a mix of snow and rain we’ve been getting.

Anyone using them here. I’ve read mixed reviews on them. I bought a Moultrie last year and was very disappointed with it.

Today I picked up my donor a new Wby Vanguard 223 Rem. The plan is to ream the factory barrel. A guy I work with will open the bolt and do the reaming of the chamber. I’ll be doing the bolt stop/extractor and mag/follower work. I will update this thread as progress happens.

Has any member on here had a reamer reground to a different caliber based on the same case? I would like to save a little coin and time on an existing reamer I have. Open to thoughts.

Found these the other day. I got them some time back. They are for 257 Wby and I’ve never came across another seater that looks like this. The sizer has the CH on top for CH4D brand. Has anyone seen these before , I’m trying to figure out what that adjusting screw on the back of seater is for.

Today I think I’m finally over it. It’s been 4 weeks with it. Just about everyone I know has been fighting it for weeks. We had such a mild winter last year and the illness seemed to stat away. Wether at work or family members we are paying the price this year.

A few weeks ago I won some brass off of GB. It took some time for the seller to get it shipped. Well now the package is caught in a loop because of 1 number being off on the zip code. I did reach out to the seller but at the moment there isn’t much he can do.

I’ve been on the lookout for quite some time for a bolt action 30-30. I finally brought one home yesterday , a Savage 840. I’m very pleased in the overall condition of the rifle. Now I can load any bullet I want without worrying about a tubular magazine.
