416 Wby / 325gr CEB

This combo took some work to come through. I never seen a bullet not like one brand of powder before. The 416 loves Alliant RL-17 and RL-26 with any bullet I’ve tried in it , not with this one. My groups would be 1.25”-1.5” just not cutting it for me. So I decided on H4350 and bingo it works. Yesterday I shot that combo again and it held together , so I’m satisfied that I found my load.

Excellent load work and shooting buddy.
I always has great speed and accuracy with H4350 in my 416 Wby with the Speer 350 gr MagTip and 400 gr PTs.

I’m thinking of trying more of that H4350 stuff in the 416.

I like H4350, it works well in every cartidge I load for except the 45/70, It may not be my first choice in any of them but likely the second.

Have only tried Re-17 in my 416 Taylor. Works very well with the 350 gr TSX, and gives excellent accuracy with 3 shot groups of 0.400" at 100 yards.
Might have to try H4350 too.
