When i hunted in the dark continent, i wanted a black wildebeest flat skin. I shot at one a little over 100 yards. Used a 180 partition in a 300wsm. I head shot him so i wouldnt damage the hide. When we got to him we found out i had shot two. We didnt see the one that had come up the slope...
I think some of noslers brass was was made by norma, they purchased silver state not to long ago and wouldnt be surprised if they did all their own brass now.

It was a old ford f150 with old steel bumpers. Ran over him with both tires. Was a young buck, so it got more tender. I guess he will never be and old smart buck. He sure tasted good.

The old standby, nosler sporter in 300wsm. Its getting pretty worn, but still shoots good when the nut behind the bolt gets his act together. Its got 6 axis so far this year.

DrMike, we had a great hunt. I actually had a first for me. I ran a spike over with the truck. We stopped, threw it in the back and went hunting. Great way to start the day, with one in the back before the sun comes up. Maybe i should make that a topic.
