Yep. My best diagnosis so far is the bolt rail in front of the ejection port inside the receiver. It used to cut/put a small dent in my brass on ejection. It was super sharp from the factory. I filed it slightly with a needle file and seemed to stop if from putting the tiny "cut" in the brass...

I can hear the THWACK from here, nice shooting. I call with a Stevens 200 in 22-250 with a Boyds pepper laminate classic on it. Before CA went lead free I enjoyed great success with 50grn Vmax's and 37.5 of Varget. Also 55grn Vmax's with 36.0. I now shoot with 40grn Nosler ballistic tip...
