It's got a 26" barrel with 1:8 twist and a Timney Trigger set to 2lbs. I'll be glad if I can get 3200 out of it and maintain good grouping.

Just got my barreled action back from Proof Research. After 3 hours of 320 grit sand paper I got it to fit into the HS precision stock and mounted the scope And broke in the barrel. I'm getting ready to do some load testing with the 125 NP and 140 bergers. I'll post how my range day goes later...

Figured i would start up a little debate on the forum here, always nice to get everyones opinion. Both calibers are great and flat shooting, and i my self own a .264 WM. Also im curious about the .270WSM and peoples experinces with them. So as all of you could guess at what my choice...

I would jump on the chance for that .264 WinMag barrel. Regarding recoil the 264 to me isnt any worse then a .270 or 30-06 with a little more muzzle report, may even be milder considering the weight of your gun. I personaly use the 130 Accubond for the hunting i do, i really dont run into much...

The Rig roads are kinda sorta "Dry up", but are still packed down and smoother then the highways from all the traffic this spring. Looking at 500 new wells out this way. Or so I've been told. Kinda excited for Prong horn this, been kinda scouting when i head out there to work.
