Scott you will like the 30-338 or the 308 norma, they are almost identical. I owned a 30-338 about five years ago.

I won one of these scopes last December at the wyoming long range shooters match. The huskemaw is a good, clear, and durable scope for that price point.

The .308 shoots well, have decided to shoot one for comps this year just to see how it will stack up. The picture is a four round group shot at 780 yards. The first shot was high right, the last three were fired after the correction. The accuracy is there with the .308 however it quickly falls...

Mike, the scope is impressive, I think it will work just fine. I decided to shoot the .308 for comps this year, hopefully I can disprove the rumor that the .308 is not competetive.

Thanks scott, coyote hunting has been ok, I have killed 21 myself and called in 8 more that people I took out with me killed. Too warm and muddy to get anywhere the last two weeks. Hopefully it will cool off again so we can get after them again.

Picked this up to put on the .308. Hensoldt 4-16 x56 NH1 reticle. Quite a bit shorter than my other scopes but just as heavy. Glass is quite possibly the best I have looked through. Will give more details once the scope is on the gun and have had a chance to use it.

Wasn't too long ago people were lined up to buy PMAGS for $100 a piece. I would have to imagine the US government bought this.

First time Wyoming Long Range Shooters group held a match, well done and it ran smooth. Three guys from team steiner were there, they had a pre production scope that was pretty slick. I shot my 6x47 lapua, that gun had 2100 rounds through it before the match, still shooting well. Still picking...

Went to a wyoming match and did pretty well. Won a huskemaw blue diamond scope for my efforts.

I was going to make a comment in regards to the "cougar" but I will pass. Good luck on your hunt.

That is what I do, I have a 6x47 and a .243 AI. I will therefore suggest a 6mm. If your just shooting then one at a time off a bench a 6 br is fine. If your shooting a match where a magazine is employed don't go with the 6br.

I still have the stock, I am going to get the new 2014 ax chassis for my match gun. I will leave this the way it is for coyotes, deer, and antelope.
