Don,
Very sorry to hear about this....... however I will share some lite on this situation. I myself have been down the colon cancer trail...... in spring of 2024 during a Cat scan they saw spots that looked concerning...... after testing 3 places it was confirmed they were cancer.....
After a...
A lead sled; with the appropriate amount of WEIGHT, plus a PAST shoulder pad, will tame even a 458 WM
to a manageable recoil. It is common knowledge amongst guides; that most guys claim to be able to shoot their big magnum rifle all day without flinching.
In reality 99.9% of folks always shoot...
JD,
I will have to find it again, but I am sure In a past posting I referenced the article; and the study was described in great detail.

You have certainly touched many lives here over the years, and should be very proud of yourself! 🙏

When the talk turns to Whitetails or Mulies, the 6.5x55 usually always surfaces, to have stood the test of time.
With it's lighting fast kills, and no recoil; it must rank up as one of the greatest deer calibers. Congrats on your lovely buck

I have a bunch of Zeiss scopes that are cornerstones to compare most other under $1000 scopes to. I have a few high end Leupolds and a few middle of road ones. I have to say back a few years ago when you could buy S1 Sightrons for $100 they are great value to have on lower priced guns. The...
