Has anyone tried pushing re 26 in the 2506 with 110 accubond

The data I am seeing over at Alliant for this powder seems pretty mild in the 2506 based on how far I pushed reloader 22.... if you haven't tried it with the 110 accubond have you been able to push the 120s to anything speedy?

Anyone using ramshot Hunter w/ great success?

I just found a pound of this at my local gun shop and it's not the recalled lot. Sounds like it's great in 3006 and maybe good in 243, 7mmo8, 270, and 2506.....anyone got a magic Load? Seems like it's near re19 in useful apps.

Anyone play with a 3030 contender?

Looking for input. Research says 30.0 re7 under a 125 bt might be a great place to start. I4198 looks like a winner too.....might need the fast burn for the 10" barrel. Once I get a hunting load dialed in might want some slow, gentle plinker loads. Wondering if gentle loads might work with neck...

Interesting experience superformance powder in 3006...

I had what I thought was somewhat interesting experience with 165 grainers and 61.3 Grains of superformance in a 22-inch 3006 Ruger. This is my buddies gun and it has a little bit of a slow Barrel and it has a little bit of excess headspace. The brass I used was 2x fired federal. The...

Deal alert ..ruger american rifles $199 at walmart..

Some guys were talking the other day on a different forum that Walmart had an unbelievable deal on RAR rifles. A lot of Walmart employees don't even know they're on sale until they scan them. Today I hit the local Walmart for grocery shopping and thought I'd just walk by and see if they had...

How friggen hot is federal loading 300 wsm?

Had a buddy bring over a box of once fired Factory Federal Fusion 300 WSM brass this week. This was bought and shot within the last year so it's not some of the earlier stuff that seemed so hotly loaded..... Without looking I cleaned them up... sized them ...and started putting primers in....7...

Heres what you'll see with a lyman $200 bore cam.

My PC is pretty old and decrepit and my tablet won't take SD chips so you'll have to see this..lol. Here is a picture of a land in my moderately used Tikka 3006. Wipeout is getting all of the copper fouling out but there's a little bit of carbon here and there. My gunsmith says Sierra has a...

Anyone used or own a Lyman borescope?

I had seen some reviews a while back and people thought they were well worth the $ 200 plus they were paying for them... certainly not Hawkeye quality but $200 quality. I put in a few bids on some on eBay and last night I finally snagged one for $183 plus $11 shipping. I guess I'll know soon...

    My new omega powder trickler!

Okay I admit I'm a gadget man. I figured as long as I had a scale that would measure .02 grains I should get a trickler that's capable of dropping one kernel at a time. For those of you who haven't seen one this is the Omega little Dandy trickler. The control box has a two-speed discharge...

I guess anybody can make an accurate bullet....lol!

Had a couple bragging groups at the shooting range today of 100 yards. The Lower group is actually a 5 shot group and the bullets are Kind of a Funny Story. About 20 years ago when you could buy reloading supplies on eBay I was buying some bullets from a guy with the last name of Royal. He...

Well, I got burned by the Win copper primer pinhole today!

I had some of the copper-colored wlr primers that were close in lot number to many of them that were reported.... I hadn't had a problem with any of them and today I had 2 go bad and do it in 5 shots. At least it was just my Marlin 270 bolt action and I got a little burn pit in 2 spots on my...

Awesome digital scale for under $100

I'll post a link below of a review I read lately that I really liked. The guy who wrote the review is very well known and respected in the shooting industry. I picked one of these up and played with it this afternoon and I'm really impressed. I was trickling some reloader 25 and I'm telling...
