    actually it's funny JD, as soon as you mentioned the 180's got me to thinking.....I remembered comparing the ballistics before and something stuck in my mind that the 180's almost seemed to close the gap (on the lighter bullets) at the longer ranges. Must be because of the higher B.C...

    JD......exactly yes, WT deer. I like 150's in an '06 for CXP2 class game.......seems like 180's just aren't required and the trajectory advantages of the 150 are very beneficial. Although your right, I'm sure 180 BT's would really open up quick and will probably shoot tighter...

    thanks for the welcome JD.......I figured IMR4350 and H4350 would perform relatively similar. However, sounds like I better go buy some IMR and give it a go with the 150's before giving up and moving to 165's. I Appreciate the input!

    Partition versus Accubond

    If you can get the Partitions to shoot well enough I'd run with them (just my opinion). You have to consider worst case scenario (ie. extremely large bull moose at long range quartering away from you, running) It takes alot to bring them down under those circumstances.     Hi guys.....been doing lots of reading here and thought I'd finally join. Looking for advise loading 150gr. ballistic tips for my Tikka -06. I tried H4350 (5 different charges) and Varget (4 different) but only the lightest load of Varget would shoot them accurately...... was very slow though...
