    7mm WSM Overall length?

What kind of overall cartridge length are people using for a 7mm WSM in a Winchester model 70 Super Shadow? Or should I just stick to the recomended COL?

    Brush?

We cut shooting lanes also, but those darn deer seem to know how to hang in the thick stuff. Is it true that the greater the distance between a branch and the target the more the bullet will have strayed?

    Brush?

How much will shooting through small diameter brush effect a bullet's path? I shoot a 7mm WSM with 140 gr. Accubonds for deer hunting. Would I be better off going to 160 gr. bullets if I expect to have to shoot through any brush?

    7mm WSM Seating Depth

Thanks for the tip. I was trying the black marker on the bullet and seating it deeper until there were no marks left on the marker, then backing off .015". But finding the exact depth was a little tricky.

    7mm WSM Seating Depth

I have a Winchester model 70 in 7mm WSM. I was having a little trouble finding the exact length that 140 gr. Accubonds were on the rifling. What have other model 70 shooters found to be their overall cartrige dimension with these bullets?

    Winchester Super Shadow

The Super Shadow actually has a fixed floorplate, so I can't open it from the bottom. I tried putting three in the magazine, then throwing another one in the chamber. Then I just held the top shell in the mag down as I slid the bolt over the top of it. This seemed to work, but I wonder if...

    Winchester Super Shadow

I just bought a Super Shadow in 7mm WSM. The book says the magazine capacity is 3. What is the best way to get one round in the chamber and three in the mag for a total of four in the gun?

    140 gr. accubond question

I am considering a similar load for my rifle. I would like to try 140 Accubonds or Partitions with about 63 grains of IMR 4350. If anyone has any input on what I can expect with this combination I would appreciate it.

    140 gr. accubond question

So you don't think a partition would expand enough and do enough damage if you get a perfect shot behind the shoulder and don't hit any bones? Would you still get an exit hole with an accubond after hitting a shoulder?

    140 gr. accubond question

I am interested in the same thing as 700 bdl. I have a 7mm WSM and am looking for the best whitetail deer bullet. I always try to shoot behind the shoulder, but I would like to know that my bullet is still going to hang together and penetrate through the deer even if I accidentally hit a...
