Joe I chronogragh my new barrel last weekend, 26", using the same load I have been using. With the 165 Sierra GK, 4 rds. averaged 3226 fps., old barrel was around 3030 with a 23" barrel. transonic

I started out with IMR 4831 many years ago, the last several I have been using IMR 4350 with good results. Accuracy is good, velocity is 2960 with 180's. I am now shooting 165's and the fps. is 3030, out of a 23" barrel. transonic

Correction on the primers, I use Remington Lg. rifle, 9 1/2 in the Swift. transonic

Try IMR 4064, 50 gr. Nosler BT, CCI Lg. Rifle primer, Winchester brass. My velocity is 3834, accuracy is excellent, puts holes in Groundhogs at 605 yds.. :shock: Try keeping your velocity between 3800 and 3900 fps., seems to be the sweet spot for me, my rifle. 8) transonic :grin:

They are excellent in the crock pot, :grin: only problem, they keep sticking there heads out and knocking the glass lid off :P . You need to keep a wooden spoon handy to bop them on the head to keep them in the pot.! :roll: transonic

Venado I have 2 Webee's, accuracy was not the best with Hornady bullets. We free floated the barrels on both rifles, tried Nosler BT. Wow, what a differance, I cannot do it all the time, but 1 hole groups have happened. transonic
