This morning I installed the Quickload 3.9 update that contains the Enduron Powder data.
The 2 Enduron powders I have experience with are IMR 7977 and IMR 4451.
Back checking my records, the predictions for IMR 7977 in the 7mm RemMag are pretty spot on to my own data less than +/- 10fps...
I just took delivery of a Weatherby Vanguard (Wilderness model) in 240 WBY. It's the third Weatherby cartridge cartridge for me and the 6th Weatherby rifle and the 5th Vanguard.
I'm looking to start out loading with MRP and IMR 7828. I have those on hand and need to base-line the rifle as well...
On a whim as part of another order from SPS I picked up some Nosler 86 grain banded E-Tips. They came today. I discovered that there is no mention of these on the Nosler web-site.
The package label and the invoice as well actual shows the as "F-Tips" . I guess that's a typo???
I also noticed...

I have been thinking about getting a 100 Lapua 243 Winchester cases to try. I know Lapua is high quality.
Does any one have some data regarding Lapua case capacity versus Norma, Hornady, Winchester, Remington???
Thanks...
I picked some Nosler Blem 7mm Rem Mag brass up from SPS a few weeks ago. Price was about what I pay for Hornady brass. The brass had a few scratches and such like I expected.
I didn't size them just primed and loaded 12 of them to plink and get some once-fired cases. Priming them was a...

Chrono data for charge weights are tracking with Nosler published values but starting to see primers flattened a bit although not excessive.
Thanks
I got a very good deal on a Weatherby Mark V at auction last month. Per the serial number gun was made by Howa in 1973. Beautiful gun and appears to been either unfired or nearly so. Bolt is silky but when feeding a cartridge the 2 spring loaded magazine retainers are very sharp edged and grate...
Any one loading and shooting the 357 Maximum still?
I picked up a 10" barrel last year for my Contender.
I've been experimenting with it and it seems an awesome cartridge although you need to be a handloader because there are only a few boutique-type ammo producers that still provide factory...
Does anyone have chronograph data showing smaller velocity spread for identical powder loads using 215 match primers versus regular Federal 215 primers?
Just back from Wyoming. Hunting outside of Casper. Took 2 stalks to get this buck. First Antelope for me. Should score mid-70s.
