10/22 takedown

I have been eyeing the 10/22 takedown for some time now. The backpacker stock by magpul really got my attention. It looked to be perfect for what I was looking for in a packable bunny and grouse gun.

Since I got my 22 suppressor this week I thought getting one with a threaded barrel would be a good idea. While pursuing the bargain cave at the local cabelas I found a tactical solutions SB-x barrel for the 10/22 takedown at half price. I figured that must have been a sign from above and grabbed one and the 10/22 T/D to put it on. At checkout I got another 40% off the barrel. That's a $220 savings!

If someone is interested they should check out their local cabelas, the 40% off is good they the month.

I can't wait to get it out and shoot it. Tomorrow is going to be a fun range day with all these new toys to play with. Ultimately I think I will put a red dot on it, but for now a 2-7 I had laying around will work.

Picked up a sig red dot for that little 10/22. It makes for more compact package.

Suppressed 22lr is just too much fun

I was worried about return to zero but I guess there is no need to be.

Pretty Skookum setup. I can really see the utility in that.

I never had a desire for a takedown 1022, until I saw the Magpul stock. I ended up getting a screaming deal on a brand new gun. I'm just waiting for the forest green stock to become available, then I'll have the same setup. I'm going to use a scope base that allows me to see through the base, when the scope is off, and be able to use the iron sights.

Go to cabelas and get that sbx barrel, then get a suppressor, it's amazing
