How do these perform on game from a 25-06?
Too fast perhaps?

I have loaded these same bullets for whitetails in my 25-06's for years, although they might be slightly slower. I've never had a failure yet, always with complete pass throughs and deer on the ground right there. Accuracy has been wonderful, too.

nope,I run them at 3300 with rl-22 out of my m77 varmint and never had a problem on deer. i like'm better than the 115's. and for smaller stuff i use th 85bt.

This 100gr BT is what I load for my Son's 25-06 at 3300 FPS also, so far all he has shot is a few Antelope.
Performance was perfect all passthrough & in Montana our average shot was just over 290 yds for the area we were hunting. Good Hunting

These must be tougher than I would have guessed. We're the deer shot through the shoulders?

I think Jorey has used them on some awfully big stuff as well and has reported excellent results from them. I know I would love to give them a shot in my wife's 25-06. It might make an excellent, lower recoil load, that'll still zap deer pretty hard. I think Jorey also used RL22 and ran them pretty quick as well. Should be a great dual purpose load for varmints and deer.. If they are anything like the 95 BT outta the 243, they are tougher than folks give them credit for.

I think you would be fine. Keep in mind you are talking 3300 MV and they are designed for 3100 fps Impact velocity. Just stay off the heavy bone to keep the meat damage to a minimum.
I am running them at 3000+ fps out of a 257 Roberts and they are fine, even on coyotes.

I thought jorey was using them

Fotis, my wife has had great luck with them in her 25-06 with all but one being a pass thru

This was a complete pass through at 187 yards, broke both shoulders.

212 yards EXTREME quartering away, tucked in behind ribs and was stuck in opposite side skin after passing through and breaking the shoulder.

160 yards, in and out. No problem.

NICE display Mike! I am sold brother! Need to find a box or two of them to work with.

Not trying to hijack the thread but have any of you guys used the 110 grain accubonds? I have been using the 115 grain Combined Technology's. My .25-06 loves them but I really like the accubonds in my other rifles so I want to try them also.

Mike,

Those are some beautiful Nebraska bucks. The rifle obviously works for your wife and for you.

Grundy53,

Welcome to the forum. Hope you'll contribute. I would imagine that the 110 grain AB would work very well, indeed. I've used them in my 257 Bob, and they do work. Let me take the opportunity to encourage you to wander over to this thread: http://www.noslerreloading.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22761. Give us an introduction so others can welcome you properly. And again, welcome to the finest forum on the Net.

Thank you! I will head right over there.

Yup from 3200 fps to 3550 fps in a 257 WBY.

All pass through even at 40 yards from the 257
