As you can see from Steve's post in order to realize the 3445 fps with Retumbo you have to load it to 116 % loading density with 67.32 grains of it. Good luck! :lol:
In other words to darn slow for your purpose.
I might try it tonight with 110 Accubonds though! I am nuts enough.

Remmy, here's another powder to think about. The test barrel was a 24", so if you have a 26" the velocity will be more.

Well if I can get about a 6ft drop tube I might have a chance in hel, lol...
Dont even think I"ll weigh the charge, just fill the case till its full and seat a bullet, shoot and see what happens!
All kidding aside, I get 3260fps with 58.5g Retumbo and 115g VLD. 58.5g in a 25-06 case dont leave much room to work with, let alone trying to stick another 3-4g in.
I will load some up today and get out tonite or tomorrow and see what happens though and report back, hopefully with 3500fps and 1/2 MOA!!
