130 Speer HotCore 7 WSM

Ran a couple speer 130 grain hot cores into the jugs while I was testing the 132 BBC. Same basic setup, 7WSM, 3375 fps at 20 yards. both found in jug 3, one cracked the 4th jug.
One weighed 46.5 grains and the other 44.0.. Total weight retained 33-35%.. May be better suited for my 7-08 than the Wizzum..

Yeah, that's putting a lot of stress on that cup-and-core bullet. The bullet will work, but it will be a high risk of losing integrity in some instances. Nevertheless, the data is good to have.

That didn't do too bad considering it is a simple cup and core bullet and that 7mm WSM is really moving them out fast, should work very well at 7mm-08 speeds though.

That's an extreme test on any bullet...
