140gr NBT 7mmMag

Not a bad group. I'd try seating a little deeper and tighten up that group a tad more.
That load will keep your freezer full for the rest of your life.
Nice work!

My COL is 3.290 per reloading data… I can honestly say that this Browning A-Bolt has never not shot good… even with factory 150gr Remington Core-Lokt it was sub moa… I traded a Remington BDL for this rifle…

Good shooting!

Is that your only Browning?

They make a fine rifle. Short bolt throw..
Two things I don't like. Not made in USA and the swing away magazine. I prefer a drop floorplate.

My grandfather when he could no longer take the hammering of his 300 wby in the shoulder he got an A-bolt medallion in 257 Roberts

Whacked an inch off the stock and two inches off the bbl.

That thing is really quick to the shoulder. A nice PA woods bolt action.

Out of curiosity what was your bdl chambered in?

I’m with ya on the drop away mag… I don’t like it at all… as far as other browning I have 4 T-Bolt but I’m sure you were referring to center fire… I just bought a Tikka T3 Light in 30-06… was seriously thinking about the X-Bolt in 30-06 but the trigger on the tikka was the deciding factor… the bdl was a 7mm Mag also… it was a great shooter too but was right hand and I’m a lefty

OP, if you haven't done it already, get yourself a trigger spring kit from MCarbo for your Browning. Really made a difference on my X-bolt. It's as good as my son's Tikka or the Timney in my Mauser. And it's only about $15.
