15 Rounds of the 35 Newton

Looks promising Scotty and I know you are having some fun with that rifle as it is going to be a monster on med range elk and anything else !! Great shooting and I think the 225 gr rounds are going to come together :)

I don't really subscribe to the shoot one, clean method. Tried it that way with a few rifles and just shooting with other new rifles. I can't tell a bit of difference. I won't say it isn't better/worse, I just don't do it anymore. I would rather just shoot the barrel, cleaning it with regular maintenance, and not overheating it. Other than that, they have all shot well for me. I may hit it with a little Iosso just to help it come along a little faster, but overall, I just shoot them, and care for they need it.

Used to clean the crap outta the barrels everytime I came from the range, whether it was 4 shots or 50. Now I lean toward cleaning it when I change up loads or components, just to give everything a fair shake.

Terry, I am thinking the 225's should be a good combo. Really hard to pick a bad bullet for what I wanna do, but the 225 sits in the middle with higher BC, good SD, and should have good trajectory out to 500, which is about all I need from this rifle. I will get some more loaded up soon, and continue shooting it. Wanna try and get about 40 rounds down the barrel before I try and work too much on the load development side.
