SPS has 30 cal, 155 Custom Competition blems in stock.

I would be all over these...if I didn't already have 850 of them! I have had an 8-lb keg of Ramshot Big Game on backorder since late July. I'm just waiting for the powder so I can get busy loading 155s in my 30-06!

I'm done with my powder rant now. Happy New Year!

Excellent target bullets. I shot a lot of good scores with those in NRA competition.

Still have about a thousand of 'em I think.

I have an equal amount of the 168 gr. CC for my .308. My best groups generally hide under a dime.

I shoot these in matches all the time and they are really accurate. As a side note has anybody shot any deer with this bullet? I don't need anybody telling me that these are target bullets and you should not shoot game with them. Just wanting to know if you have shot game with them and how they worked. They have J4 jackets just like the Berger bullets and was just wondering if they react the same on game.

I ran mine through, some "single" gallon, milk jugs full of water, with the lids on, at 300. Limited if any expansion. In fact I was thinking my shooting was bad because none of the five exploded when shot. When I got to the target area "all" had been hit (5) , but none had burst. I was disappointed that there was not a more rapid expansion.

Why be disappointed? They're designed to win matches, not fill tags!

When I pulled the trigger I wanted to be rewarded with a spray of water to show me a sure hit. I hate having to wander over to 300 or more yards to see if I hit a gallon milk jug. I was shooting sitting and trying to development my technique and getting up and down really doesn't help.

My Garands really like the 155s, my 308 really likes the 140. I'd like to find some of the 190s for subsonic work and also a 300 WM target rifle build I'm considering.
